We'll be flying into Ulaanbatar (UB) June 17 and return the 22nd of July. The time in between then we will be in Ulaangom (far left of Mongolia). As you can see by the topographical map the northern part of the Gobi Desert runs through souther Mongolia. We will be in more mountainous terrain with steppes and forests.
This is a Ger. These are said to be one of the most efficient man-made structures due to their durability, portability, and temperature control
This isn't photo shopped, contrary to popular belief. Mongolia is home to the largest species of trout, that being the Tiamen. It is a revered fish and is illegal for anyone to catch and eat unless you are a native of Mongolia... Don't think I'll leave my toes in the water for too long!
